Privacy Policy

This policy describes HomeVault version 1.0.0 (Build 2).

Information stored on your device

HomeVault stores the properties, rooms, inventory items, notes, purchase details, serial numbers, confirmed text-recognition results, photos, receipts, records, and attachment metadata you choose to add in app-private storage on your device. No HomeVault account is required. This release does not send that inventory to Tribal Ventures, Firebase, or another HomeVault production backend and provides no cloud backup, synchronization, remote storage, or household sharing.

Camera, photos, and text recognition

Camera and photo-library access occurs only after you choose a capture action and grant permission. Selected images and text recognition are processed on device. HomeVault may suggest detected text for your review; suggestions may be inaccurate and are not added to your inventory until you confirm them.

Export, backup, and deletion

HomeVault-managed records and attachments are excluded from supported automatic iOS and Android backup mechanisms. A ZIP export is created only when you request it and is passed to the operating system's save or share interface. Tribal Ventures does not automatically receive it. Delete All HomeVault Data removes HomeVault-managed local records, attachments, temporary files, recovery data, and operation history from the app. It cannot delete an archive you previously exported. Uninstalling normally removes app-private data.

Services and data collection

Build 2 uses operating-system camera, photo selection, storage, sharing, and on-device text-recognition capabilities. It does not initialize Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple or Google Billing, advertising, analytics, trackers, or telemetry. Tribal Ventures does not collect or share HomeVault inventory data through the app in this release.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke camera and photo access in device settings, export your data, delete all HomeVault-managed data in the app, or uninstall the app. This release creates no account, so account deletion is not applicable.
